CENTRAL AVENUE DOTTVERSITY PARADE
Wyandotte County’s Central Avenue Parade is the single most important event/venue on East Wyandotte County or Downtown Kansas City, Kansas. Annually produced by Central Avenue Betterment Association, the parade has historically drawn circa 5,000 visitors to the Central Avenue Commercial Corridor every year.
DAY OF THE DEAD
Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de Muertos) is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South regions, and by people of Mexican ancestry living in other places, especially the United States. It is acknowledged internationally in many other cultures.
